The Republican Wing of the Republican Party

Conservatives Win Big In Rhode Island

Rhode Island Republican Assembly

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 10, 2012

DESTIN, FL:  Rhode Island, the most RINO state in the nation and home to Lincoln Chaffee, whose claims to fame include threatening to switch his party affiliation to Democrat to save the Democrat majority in the Senate, voting against George W. Bush for President, and endorsing Barack Obama; has seen a rebirth of Reagan Conservatism.

The Rhode Island Republican Assembly (RIRA), led by Ray McKay, is transforming the political landscape in Rhode Island, and achieving the primary goal of Republican Assemblies across the nation: Republican Assembly members are prominent in the RIGOP, now including the position of Chairman.

In a historic special election December 21, Mark Zaccaria, a respected member of RIRA, was elected RIGOP Chairman. What is even more astonishing is all three people who stood for the Chairmanship are RIRA members - not one RINO even attempted to run!

“We [RIRA] work to ensure that the Party grows and remains truthful to the citizens of Rhode Island, and to bring back sanity to our government”, said McKay.

RIRA has been fighting for principles, values, and the Constitution since October 2001, and in the last ten years have made their presence known in Rhode Island. What is their formula for success? Great leadership from men like Ray McKay and Will Ricci, and a willingness to stand for the truth against great odds. When thrown a challenge, RIRA fights for what is right. They get the job done.

Nationally, the Republican Assemblies exist to return the reins of the GOP to the ignored majority: Republicans who believe in small government, lower taxes, free market capitalism, a strong defense, the right to life, and a decent America. It is far past time for conservatives to be heard.

“America must raise an empire of permanent duration, supported upon the grand pillars of Truth, Freedom, and Religion, encouraged by the smiles of Justice and defended by her own patriotic sons.” --Major General Nathanael Greene

There is much to be done. The coming elections are vital to the future of our country, our children, and our children’s children. In these difficult times RIRA is a stalwart defender of the Republican Assembly movement and a great example to us all.
