About Will Ricci
Will Ricci is the Northeast Region Vice President of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. He is a founding member of the Rhode Island Republican Assembly, which was chartered in 2001. Since then, the RIRA has become the dominant voice for conservativism in Rhode Island. As a member of the RIRA, Will has served in the positions of Vice President, National Committeeman, and Treasurer.
Will is actively involved with the Republican Party, at both the state and local levels. Since 2003, he has served as an elected Delegate to the Rhode Island Republican State Central Committee. As a Delegate, Will is also a member of the party's Nominations and Credentials Committees. Will is an executive board member of the East Providence Republican City Committee, as well as an active member of the RI Young Republicans, the RI Center-Right Coalition, the East Bay Republicans, and of Operation Clean Government. In addition, Will is the Executive Editor of the RIRA's popular blog, The Ocean State Republican.
Will has been involved in a number of gubernatorial, congressional, and senatorial campaigns, and has also served as manager of several local campaigns. In 2002 and 2006, Will volunteered for the successful campaigns of conservative RI Governor Donald Carcieri. He also volunteered for the nationally noteworthy 2006 United States Senate campaign of conservative Steve Laffey, against incumbent RINO Senator Lincoln Chafee. Will was instrumental in bringing the National Federation of Republican Assemblies Board Meeting and Northeast Conservative Conference to Rhode Island in the summer of 2006.
Will attended Roger Williams University, where he majored in Political Studies, and was an active member of its College Republican chapter. Since then, he has primarily worked in the banking industry, as well as for his family's business. Will is a strong proponent of the power of volunteerism. Besides his political involvement, he participates in educational, cultural, and historical preservation efforts.
