About Grover Norquist
Grover Norquist is Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee and President of the District of Columbia Republican Assembly. He is also President of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), America's premier coalition of taxpayer groups, individuals and businesses opposed to higher taxes at the federal, state and local levels. He serves on the boards of TheVanguard.Org, the NFRA, the National Rifle Association and the American Conservative Union, and previously served on the National Commission on Restructuring the Internal Revenue Service, the Advisory Commission on Electronic Commerce, and as Executive Director of the National Taxpayers' Union. He also serves as President of the American Society of Competitiveness and as a Contributing Editor at The American Spectator.
He is the author of Leave Us Alone -- Getting the Government's Hands Off Our Money, Our Guns, Our Lives. The book is an optimistic look at how the conservative movement can and will grow during the next 25 years.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, both from Harvard University. He and his wife, Samah, live in Washington, DC.
